Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement
By engaging DesignDile for book design services, you agree to these Terms of Service. We provide professional book cover design, interior formatting, and layout services for print and digital publishing.
2. Project Scope
Each project includes:
- Initial consultation to understand your requirements
- Design concepts or formatting based on package selected
- Specified number of revision rounds
- Final files in agreed formats (PDF, EPUB, etc.)
- Upload guides for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark
Additional services beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges.
3. Payment Terms
- 50% deposit required to start work
- Remaining balance due before final file delivery
- Payments accepted via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun
4. Intellectual Property
Client Content: You retain all rights to your manuscript and content. We assert no ownership claims.
Design Work: Upon full payment, you receive exclusive rights to use the final designs for your book. We retain the right to display work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise.
Stock Assets: Licensed stock photos and fonts remain property of their respective owners. Usage rights are included in your project fee.
5. Revisions & Approval
Each package includes a specific number of revision rounds:
- Starter Package: 2 revision rounds
- Professional Package: 3 revision rounds
- Premium Package: Unlimited revisions
Additional revisions beyond the package limit are billed at $50/hour. Clients must approve final designs before file delivery.
6. Timeline & Delivery
Standard turnaround is 7-14 business days after deposit and content submission. Rush orders available for an additional fee. Timelines may extend if client feedback is delayed or content requires significant revision.
7. Print Specifications
We guarantee our files meet Amazon KDP and IngramSpark technical specifications. If a file is rejected due to our error, we will correct it at no charge. Rejections due to content issues (e.g., image quality, text errors) may incur revision fees.
8. Cancellation Policy
- Projects can be cancelled before work begins with full refund minus 10% processing fee
- Once work has started, deposits are non-refundable
- We reserve the right to cancel projects that violate our content policy
9. Limitation of Liability
DesignDile is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project.
